1940s and 1950s documentation.

This is a vintage ration book case. It is hardback, made of what looks like cardboard in a leather look design.

Inside the case are two ration books dating from 1950-1951 and 1951-1952.

Also contained in the ration case is a National registration identity card, in the original pouch stamped in 1943,

Postage discount

§  We send all parcels by Royal mail or Parcel Force. Whilst we realise this service can be more expensive than other couriers we find this to be the most reliable service which is important to us and also for the customer. As a buyer we have found a few parcels sent by other couriers to be 3 weeks late, left at the wrong address and left outside a building in full view of passers by when we were out – not a service we want our customers to receive.

§  We generally send items under 2kg by 1^st Class post as the price between 1^st  Class and 2^nd Class is often small. Should you wish to pay slightly less but wait a bit longer then we can post 2^nd Class.

§  If buying more than one item we will always combine postage and offer a discount wherever possible (please note where an item is at the high end of one weight or size category it will not always be possible to offer a discount).

§  If you wish to take up the option of either of the above please feel free to ask for a price before buying.

International postage

We will post items internationally but please not we only send international parcels tracked and signed for.

If local to save on postage you are welcome to collect this item from our shop in Eastbourne.
