HONEST DISCLOSURE......I have listed this camera lower than my normal selling price and have priced it as a BARGAIN PRICED camera only because the light meter is off by approx. 2 f.stops. It can be corrected by simply setting the ASA Dial to double the actual ASA speed of film that is being used. For example: If using 100 ASA film set the dial to 200 ASA, 200 ASA film set the dial to 400 ASA, 400 ASA film set the dial to 800 ASA. I have upgraded the cameras back door with one that has a film memo holder so that you can use with a note to remind yourself of the settings.......read on if you are still interested.

This is a tested and beautiful clean working Olympus OM-1 MD Black Camera Body with a Olympus Zuiko 50mm f1.8 lens and a clean Olympus Hot Shoe. These black bodies are becoming harder to find in nice condition and at the time of original purchase they cost more. The foam strip down the inside of the back door hinge has been replaced so you'll get no light leaks. This is a very popular Manual Focus SLR 35mm Film Camera. It offers Full Manual Exposure Mode making it the ideal camera and one of the most recommended cameras by teachers for any 35mm film photography class or a just a great camera to get creative on. 

Cosmetically the camera body is in mint minus condition (9 out 10) with no dents, no dings and no engravings. All printed white wording and letters are clean, bright and complete. The prism head, the back door and the lug strap sides all look very clean. There is a hint of light brass wear on the edge of the base plate and some light surface marks but overall it still looks super nice. All shutter speeds from B/1-1000th have been tested and are working correctly. The viewfinder is clean and clear with no prism desilvering that most have (black glue like marks). The light meter has been tested and the floating light meter needle adjusts but is off by approx. 2 F.Stops as disclosed above. The film counter works great with no issues. It is fitted with 1-13 Split Image Focusing Screen suitable for general photography. The shutter curtain is clean and straight with no wrinkles. Included with the camera is a NEW deluxe neck strap, a working battery 625 1.5volt Battery, the winder port cover located on the base, and a Olympus OM-1 Instruction.

The Olympus 50mm lens is also in near mint condition. All printed numbers are clean, bright and complete. The glass has no scratches, no fungus and no haze. The apertures are snappy and click into place positively like they should. It comes with a Olympus 49mm front lens cap.
