This is WOLVERINE # 20 – 32 COMPLETE MARK MILLAR RUN in NM condition.

This is one of the best Wolverine stories that I've read.  It’s basically a four hour action movie of Wolverine vs. the Marvel Universe. It's nothing deep or compelling, but it is exciting and a lot of fun to read. Mark Millar captures Wolverine's sarcastic voice and attitude perfectly well, and John Romita Jr's always available art is a pleasure to look at it. The coloring is absolutely gorgeous as well.

In the 12-part epic "Enemy of the State," the evil organizations of Hydra and the Hand have teamed up and captured and killed Logan. They then use the Hand's indoctrination process of bringing him back from the dead to be theirs as well as add some tech to control him. They unleash the Wolverine and no country, super-powered being, or regular person is safe as he is sent out to collect secrets to exploit as well as kill other super-powered beings to put them through the resurrection process. This tale goes through so many twists and turns as Logan struggles with being controlled and the rest of the super folks and high ranking agencies try to do what they have to do to stop him. Long time Marvel artist John Romita Jr. provides pencils for this epic and does so enjoyably. His simple yet dynamic and cartoony style is appropriate for this horrific tale of a killing machine being put to his intended use.

After “Enemy of the State” we get the other half of the story: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., where he fights the brainwashing and takes the fight back to Hydra. To sum this story up in one word: Insane.

Lastly, we get a haunting single issue story drawn by Kaare Andrews that finds Logan in a concentration camp in Poland in 1942. Wolverine is a POW in a World War II concentration camp, driving Nazi officers to insanity with his healing factor.
