Small supermarket next door, larger ones in town - 10 minute walk or a few minutes taxi ride. Baker, fishmarket, butcher in Sal Rei and a fresh produce market in the town Square plus lots of restaurants and bars. There are ATMs and banks plus lots of souvenir shops. Take a beach buggy tour or a taxi tour round the island or go whale watching/turtle laying/hatching (in season), or visit several small villages, some with good restaurants, or go to a beach bbq. Lots of watersports (kite, wind and board surfing, diving, deep sea/beach fishing) available, and many beach bars serving meals and snacks.

Great stay and perfect location

My boyfriend and I stayed one week in this apartment, and we had a really good time. The apartment is really nice and well equipped, really big it can host 4 people without problem! The condominium was also really nice, and well situated in Boa Vista. I can warmly recommend this apartment it was a perfect stay from the beginning until the end!
Geri provided plenty of information on Sal Rei and answered our specific questions quickly. The apartment was in a fantastic location, and everything was as described. We had a great time and have been recommending Sal Rei to everyone we know! Hope to be back again soon!

LOCAL CURRENCY IS CV ESCUDOS, ALTHOUGH MOST PLACES TAKE EUROS, BUT THEY GIVE CHANGE IN ESCUDOS. TAKE EUROS AND CHANGE EUROS TO ESCUDOS IN THE BANKS FOR A BETTER RATE.

Boa Vista - 5 STARS Left on Dec 8, 2015 for a stay in Nov 2015 on Trip Advisor

We stayed for a week at Geris Boa Vista appt. The complex is pretty peaceful all day and night and has a lovely relaxing atmosphere to it. The location is perfect for access to a beautiful beach and a short walk into the local town. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for the week. No air con but this was not an issue as ceiling fans were sufficient. The complex was also very well looked after and the pool always immaculate. During our stay a small business offering massage and other relaxation therapies opened up. A lovely addition to the complex. Would definitely visit again.

This place is awesome, i know very well this island Boa Vista, there's everything that you will need to have a good holiday ! The appartement is very spacious, and nothing were missing ! Very clean, perfect to enjoy your holiday! Security 24/7 ! If you need some advice or else, every body is there for help ! There's a bar around the pool, with wifi it cost only 2? per day! The city is just a few minute from vila cabral 2 ! If you want to have a nice and cool holiday, you should try vila cabral 2.. for sure you're not going to regret it! I booked this apartment for my son and daughter in law. They had a great time here. The apartment was clean, tastefully furnished and well equiped. Good location, beautiful surroundings, great swimming pools, relaxing atmosphere, nice beach nearby. I really recommend it!

We had a lovely holiday and made all the better by meeting Geraldine the owner. The apartment was lovely and the resort was beautiful. For a few Euros you could go to Santa Maria for dinner. No complaints Jay and George

Large fully equipped kitchen, full size oven and hob, extractor fan, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, toaster, cafetiere, juicer, microwave, iron and board. Dining Area seats up to 8. 1 x 2 seater sofa, 1x 3 seater sofa, 1 x 3 seater sofabed.

Double bedroom has King size bed, mosquito net, 2 x bedside tables and lamps, dressing table, large wardrobes, double doors to patio area. Ensuite bathroom with shower, washbasin, toilet and bidet. Safe for small valuables.

Excellent, great value for money

I took my first trip to Cape Verde in April, The Canna Apartments were lovely, the complex was clean and very well maintained; it had its own supermarket and bank onsite, which was extremely useful. My apartment itself was fabulous, really spacious and lovely décor I couldn?t fault it, it had everything I needed, as well as being clean & well maintained it was also well stocked with grocery bits, Trevor the manager was thoughtful enough to leave fresh water and milk in the fridge for when I arrived. Geraldine the owner was also very lovely, she was so helpful throughout the booking and my stay in Cape Verde, she gave me lots of information and tips before I had even travelled which were very useful during my stay. I have already started enquiring with Geraldine the owner about staying in the Canna apartments again.
Spacious, clean and neat apt, excellent value.

Had a great holiday here in Geri's apt. Very quiet and restful, but with all amenities close by! We could go out or stay in - either were good choices, as all shops and restaurant/bars were not too far away! Lots of watersports, esp kite surfing if that's what you wanted. Beautiful beaches a short distance away, either walking or taxi/bus away!! Fish is a main part of the diet here - very fresh sailfish, swordfish, grouper, tuna - fab! The local dish Catchupa, is interesting to say the least....a soup like mixture of stewed meat and veg and lentils! Beds were comfortable and linen fresh. Lots of wardrobe space. Very light and airy, with patio doors plus windows for each bedroom. All in all, a very enjoyable time - loved the vast, almost deserted beaches, cheerful locals and of course - the sun!!
