An absolutely beautiful Ridgeway Westminster Chime pillar & scroll style mantel clock. Made in USA with German Urgos signed brass movement. This is a nice heavy solid built clock with a beautifully finished Oak hardwood case showing stunning grains. Measures approx.- H - 27"/W -15 1/2 at base "/ D - 6 1/4 at base" Key wound, the brass Urgos 16742 UW 6/68 A, is an 8 day movement and has been serviced, oiled and adjusted to provide many years of trouble free enjoyment. The movement looks to have had very little run time. Has a pleasant sounding Westminster chime every 1/4 hour and also denotes the hour. Has a hinged glass door with a pretty brass pendulum, gold embossed glass and brushed aluminum and brass dial with Roman numerals. Has ornately cast brass finials for a nice finishing touch. This clock is in beautiful condition and displays nicely!
