For sale is a great lithophane made by KPM in the 19th century. It has a scene of a couple with their dog by their feet with a nice mountian landscape surrounding them. Probably sheepherders with their clothes being rather tradional and nice. A really nice theme and a larger version than the usual ones one finds. Lithophanes are not found often made by KPM most are more modern pieces by lesser quality makers. This piece is in perfect condition and marked with the impressed scepter mark over the letters K.P.M and the number 392 and the letter G underneath. It is 6 inches wide and 7.25 inches tall.
