JETPACKMODS XP-1000

Get all the sounds of the the XP-100 Whammy/Wah, XP-200 Modulator, XP-300 Space Station & XP-400 Reverberator in one pedal - via a top-mounted selector toggle. Yes, get the warped pitch bends and funky wah sounds of the XP-100, the modulated madness of the XP-200, the atmospheric textures of the XP-300, and the spacial dimensionality of the XP-400, all in ONE other worldly pedal, which we call the JetpackMods XP-1000.

In addition to the standard issue Jetpack Mods XP-1000 Modifications, all pedals are fitted and shipped with the following:

- New industrial grade pedal/treadle grip tape for a solid feel under foot - not only does it look extra stealthy, but it ensures that your rock moves keep on rocking (if you have any ''rock'' moves to begin with, of course).

- Both tactile switches within the unit have been replaced with high quality Mountain Switches that should provide you years of care free switching action. No more tapping the switch a few times just to bypass the unit, or to bank up or down!

- The LED overlay has been cut and trimmed up - Jetpack style.

- If necessary, the rubber bumpers below the pedal/treadle have been replaced. These unassuming parts provide protection for the LED optical system that acts as a potentiometer for the toe/heel motion of the expression pedal. These bumpers occasionally fall of, become brittle, or are sliced in half from heavy use. Others have been removed by users who like the extra throw, or travel, of the pedal, without knowing they could be damaging the internal optics. We’ve seen our fair share of shattered LEDs and its not pretty - don’t be that guy or gal. Leave the rubber bumpers alone, they are your friends.

COSMETIC CONDITION:

The host XP-100 red housing is in REALLY nice cosmetic shape. I would give this a 9.75 out of 10 on the cosmetic condition scale. It very close to mint. Pictures are of the actual XP-1000 you will be purchasing. These are NOT stock photographs.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In the case of converting this XP-100 Whammy Wah, the stereo functionality that is normally missing in this particular pedal (i.e. Effect Out / Dry Out) has been fully restored to take advantage of the cool stereo tricks of the Space Station presets. This is good news for the XP-200, XP-300, and XP-400 Stereo capabilities, but it also means that the XP-100 presets have lost their dry output entirely. As in: no sound will come out of the right output during XP-100 usage. If you are running MONO in your rig, you have nothing to worry about. This is the harsh reality, and the software limitations the XP-100 patches.

POWER SUPPLY INFORMATION: This auction includes a beefy aftermarket 1.5AMP Power Supply. The stock 820mA power supplies that originally shipped with the XP units were woefully undernourished and these new 1.5A units will help you avoid dreaded digital dropouts and annoying resets, and make sure you your gigs and studio sessions go smoothly.

USA SHIPPING: The shipping price in the auction includes insurance for the purchase price as well as delivery signature. We ship USPS.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We use Ebay's Global Shipping Program. We simply ship this to a fulfillment center here in the USA and then it is shipped to you in your fine country. We have no idea of the cost, import fees, etc. The only cost we see is the price to send to the the shipping center. Please check the shipping details above for details.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS & POWER SUPPLIES: Since most of the rest of the world runs on 220v power, we recommend purchasing a dedicated 1.5A 9 Volt AC power supply from your region. We will provide you with the specs and mail order sources. We can send you the 1.5A Power Supply, but you will be in charge of tracking down a 110v-to-220v converter.

CONTACT: If you have any questions, please send us a note. We’ve been modding the XP series for years and can answer most questions about them.

We here at JetpackMods are fully aware that 95.5% of all stompbox-crazed folks out there in pedal land simply want the wild and wacky sounds of the XP-300 Space Station. With that in mind, if having the gazillion sounds of the XP-1000 isn’t your thing, we also offer Jetpack-modded XP-300 Pedals. Please check our other auction for pricing and details.

SHORT JETPACKMODS Q&A SESSION:

IMPORTANT USER QUESTION: I’ve heard that I need to power-down the pedal before switch modes on the Jetpack Mods XP-1000, is that true?

EVEN MORE IMPORTANT JETPACKMODS ANSWER: At one time, yes. That said, this mildly annoying inconvenience has been rectified on the newer XP-1000 mods. You simply click the toggle to your desired module, wait a few seconds for the individual XP module to boot up, and you are ready to rock like a hurricane.
