PRIMUS TYPE HEATER DOME

Bringing History Back To Life.

New old stock made for the British army solid brass heater dome.

These domes work with any stove that has a pan ring, they get really hot and give out loads of heat.

They were made to heat army tents etc, but you could use them for lots of different heating uses.

Diameter 11cm hight 53mm

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR THE DOME ONLY NOT THE STOVE.

Not seen any on ebay so I guess they are rather rare.

Primus made something similar many moons ago.

Daft as it sounds, it worked a treat. I used it on my smallest burner on full heat to get it raised up to temperature then dropped it down to a gentle low heat to maintain the temperature and it did warm up the kitchen as good as any electric heater and probably much quicker and I'd guess cheaper. Its great for blasts of warmth in a hurry.
