This listing is for a Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, SN 169374, made by the Selmer Company of Paris, France. It is the famous Mark VI model. This instrument is considered by most musicians to be the best saxophone ever produced. It is used by most jazz & professional players including John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Wayne Shorter, Paul Desmond, Stanley Turrentine and countless others. The serial number in the series place production around 1969.  My father purchased it for me new. This instrument shows slight wear that can be seen in the photos. Some very slight dings and blemishes. All parts are 100% original except the pads and some corking which were replaced at one point.  I am throwing in a Reunion Blues Gig Bag and a Berg Larson Mouth Piece. This is truly an investment. Contact me with any questions or concerns.
