Up for sale here is this vintage HH Scott 208 tube amplifier. As you can see from my pictures, this has lived a rough life and is in bad condition. I believe this was just stored in a damp basement. The top has a fair amount of corrosion and rust, and this has rust and corrosion on the screws and terminals and what-not as well. One of the can capacitors has broken loose from its mount somewhat. No tubes or tube shields are included. This does have a bottom but one foot is missing. I opened this to take pictures of the inside, which is exceptionally clean, but did not do anything to this. I do not know if this has been worked on in the past or not, but I think it was--I do not believe the orange drop capacitors are original. I brought this up on a Variac with a borrowed set of tubes and tested it, and it plays cleanly out of both channels and sounds fairly good. This will need an extensive rebuild, obviously. I will guarantee the transformers but you are probably going to have to replace the RCA jacks, speaker terminals, capacitors, and possibly more. This is sold as NON-WORKING and will need work, but the transformers are guaranteed. Please see all 12 of my pictures for details.
