Wallager's Balmy Feb Pay The Bills Auction
Assorted stuff again. As always if you are interested in multiple items, I will combine shipping. I'm apparently getting dinged a little for my shipping costs. Well folks, they're based on my estimate of shipping weight and USPS priority mail rates. They are usually accurate. Every now and then they are off and 90% of the time it means *I* have to pay the difference. This also happens when the box gets bigger than a certain size - as it will if somebody buys more than 4 or so of my 1:25 model car kits. So.... if you have any doubts about the shipping, hold up until you get an invoice from me... and like I say, if you are bidding on another of my items that isn't closed yet, just let me know.
Important: NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING on this item!

I bought this camera from my brother in the mid 1990s. He bought it new some time around 1989 I believe, the complete outfit. I am selling the parts separately. Unfortunately I don't have the boxes. I have kept this gear stored in a foam lined case all these years. I was on a camera binge, and my brother hadn't used it in a while so I bought it from him. I didn't use it very much myself, as I was mainly into railroad action photography and shooting 35mm autofocus. So this camera is really low mileage. It's in good clean condition, but I am not a collector or grader and I would never presume to declare its condition other than what you see. I tested it (with lens and back) and shutter speeds sound good, the "barn doors" at the back operate smoothly and tight. There's a little bit of dust but the flash on my digital camera tends to really make it stand out. If you are looking for a good solid user Hasselblad, maybe this one is for you. I am selling all of the bits separately - not everyone needs a complete outfit, but if you check my other items you'll find enough to make a complete outfit. I'd love to see it all go to a good home and get some use. The Hasselblad was good enough for NASA to send to the moon. We've seen all those grainy videos, but those awesome super clear images of Buzz Aldrin and the others were taken with a custom made 70mm version of this very camera, with a VERY large film back since it's kind of hard to load a roll of film in a space suit. I really love this camera, but right now I need the money and it has probably not been used in at least 15 years. There was film left in the backs which I used up just to check it out, and everything seemed in good working order. If I were in the position to spend money and buy stuff, I'd be keeping this and getting a digital back for it - maybe the buyer has that in mind. Incredible high resolution.

TERMS: Payment by Paypal within 7 days of auction end is required. I will combine shipping for multiple items, please wait for or request and invoice before paying for multiple items. Shipping is based on USPS priority mail rates for domestic USA shipping, and this is determined by your location. If you have any questions or unusual requests regarding shipping please ask before bidding. I will leave positive feedback within a reasonable time after payment is received, not necessarily instantly but I will get to it and I usually do feedback in batches. I always leave feedback and request you do the same if you are satisfied with your purchase. The items I sell are personal property, many of them are very old and sold strictly as-is. I attempt to show the condition of the item in photos and describe any defects or issues. Again, any questions regarding condition should be asked before you bid. These items are packed with care in the Wallager Shipping Department by myself or my wife.

Hey, guess what. Called my brother and it seems that after more than 20 years he still had the boxes! The camera box is in decent shape, a bit tight in the outer cardboard sleeve. Original instruction manual is also inside, as is the rear body cover and the original factory strap still in its original bag. Unfortunately the front body cap isn't there. I will pack the lens in cling wrap inside the box to protect it.
