This auction is for a very beautiful, Long Discontinued Ford Shelby COBRA Concept by Autoart. This car was based on the original AC Cobra of 1961 which was to take on the Ferrari 250 LM. The car had the right ingredients to win races. In 2004 Ford motor company incorporated the Shelby name brand, and other retro cars back into its lineup, to foreshadow the release of the Ford Shelby Mustang GT500. The cars that Ford used were this Shelby Cobra Concept and the Ford Shelby GR-1 coupe. The car was designed with pure driving enthusiasm in mind, so no ABS, air-conditioning radio or wiper blades were incorporated into the car! With that in mind futuristic elements such as cameras instead of mirrors were used. The trunk features a detailed fuel cell. The Shelby was a functioning concept car that featured a V-10 engine.

This car features a Metallic Silver , with Grey stripes which were used to resemble the original Ford Shelbies of the 60s. The car rides on grey, multi-spoke patterned rims. The interior is realistic looking, finished in grey with light Blue seats. The interior and trunk are fully detailed just like the real thing. The steering wheel is based on that of the Ford Shelby concept. Ford and cobra logos and name are located on the steering wheel, the engine, rims, front grill, and on the trunk of the car. The engine has been crafted to resemble that of the actual Ford engine.

The SHELBY CONCEPT came with a 6.4L Inch V-10 engine which produced 605 HP, and 501 ft/lb of Torque. The car features a 2-door opening for easy access to the driver and passenger seats. The car is in MINT condition. All wheels and tires are new. The outer box is in pretty good condition.

The front engine cover and both doors open revealing the extremely detailed car. All wheels have street tread pattern on them! Front wheels are turn just like the real thing, but are not connected to the wheels! This car has to absolutely be in the American Muscle / Ford Shelby enthusiasts’ collection!! Truly a work of art and INCREDIBLE level of DETAIL!
