Completely handmade costume supply item. Made by Afghani refugees in Northwest Pakistan. New cotton hair tassels with tiny white glass seed beads. You will receive the set of beaded Turkmen hair tassels shown in the first two photos. The last photo is an example only, showing tassels on lengths of braided cord. Three sets of connected tassels - each set is attached to a double strand of twisted cotton cord, traditionally used to braid into the hair. Blue/black cord. Colorful tribal motif. Tassels measure approx 10 inches long on 28 inch cord.

Most tribal jewelry is costume jewelry composed of various alloys. Some alloys are better than others. Silver content ranges from 30% to 70% silver or less.
