Hello. Up for sale is a nice Rick 4001 bass from 1979.

This bass is original and in very good condition. It has the cool Mapleglo finish and has some attractive flame maple in the body. The two letters on the jackplate are SF for June 1979.

The bass is original and plays well and sounds like a 4001. The neck is good and the action is low on this bass. It has normal wear and tear and the little crack in the pickguard by the bass pickup screws.

The bottom strap button had been moved slightly. This hole is filled now and the original button placed back in the bass. There are two little filled holes next to the strap button on the horn as well.

The bass comes with a Roadrunner rectangular polyfoam case. These are a cross between a gig bag and a hard case. The case pictured in the ad is not included. I have another Rick knob for the knob that is missing the chrome insert. It is labelled treble volume instead of bass volume.
