This is an Official Universal Studios Monsters quality 9" tall Mummy. From what I see online it was produced by Robot House and made in Japan in 1991 and is part of a limited edition series of 5 different robots. It has tin litho body and hard vinyl head and hands. Wind him up and watch the arm and leg action as he walks along.
This toy does not have the certificate w/ serial number, but does have all the cardboard inserts, a metal windup key and a beautifully lithographed box.
On the side of the box is printed:

I’m not a collector, but I’ve inherited a toy collection from a very meticulous collector. According to his records, he purchased it new in 1999 and it was made in 1991. This toy is in new condition. I just took him out of his box and wound him up using an identical key to make sure he is in working condition. The original key is still in the stapled plastic bag it came in. Other than that, this Mummy has not been out of his box.
