The Western Digital Green hard disk drive has Perpendicular Magnetic recording technology, which can enable a high storage capacity in existing standard form factors and improve execution by increasing data density, while reducing moving parts for enhanced reliability, and features the StableTrac technology, which can secure the motor shaft at either end. It has a 64MB cache, a form factor of 3.5 inches, Spindle Speed fixed between 5400-7200 RPM, and an Average Seek Time of 8.9ms.This disk drive can install as easily as any traditional hard drive without special drivers or downloads required and are compatible with most typical computer configurations, including Mac and the latest Windows operating systems.
