hi,for sale is this budget rock and roll bed,

ideal for camper / van conversion, permanent 

fitted for regular use, holidays or loaded into

van for weekends away :) 

using new rock n roll hinges and new 18mm ply,

it comes with all nuts n bolts and screws etc to put

together yourself, everything is labelled as to where

each section goes, so fairly easy to put together.

the front face panel is 46" wide and 13.5" high,

total length of the unit is 46"  long.( i can

make the seat / bed higher for the front panel and sides

if it is to go over the rear wheel arch if the arch is

11" or higher from the floor of the van, ie.  17" high for the

face panel and sides, just let me know if this

is what you would prefer ?  )

the seat lifts up for storage access, and pulls out

into the bed position, you then flip over the top seat base

to make up the 74" in length for sleeping.

width of the seating / sleeping area is just

under 42".

 

you will need to have some support to go under the

2nd seat base when flipped out into the bed position,

foot stool or some thing made for that purpose etc :) 

the far rear board can be left as is and screwed into position,

or you could hinge it to make access from the rear of the van,

this would be for the customer to do as everybody has

their own ideas etc  :) 

the seat can be flat packed for the courier, or you can

collect the seat already assembled.

i use block connectors like you find

on kitchen units etc, to put the bed together, i would

advise using wood glue too when putting together to

fit in your van, when set should be plenty strong enough

with the screws used too.

i also make a seat / bed that fits lengthways down the

side of the van and pulls out sideways if you were

looking for that type of design. please check
