The UltraHDMI is from the latest batch with the latest firmware (1.06 from 2017).

Mod work was done by me, an Electrical Engineer trained in surface mount solder training.

I used a Hakko solder station with no-clean flux, and Kapton tape to secure the flex cable (FCC).

I also hooked up the extra in-game-reset wire which allows the game to be reset by holding Z+A+B+R+Start.

I've done a few of these, and a few HiDefNES kits as well as PS3 downgrades, Xbox 360 JTAG/RGH, SNES repros, Genesis repros, etc.

Controller joystick is in acceptable condition, the joystick is a little sloppy.
