For sale is a cup and saucer made by Royal Copenhagen in 1963. Sadly not an original 18th century set of their most famous service the Flora Danica or Danish Flowers service which is one of the most famous services ever made since that is still in the hands of royalty but a 20th century version :) This cup and saucer is hand painted in the typical style of a gold pointy edge with a some pink highlights and flowers as well as leaves with the cup having a nice large blue flower called Veronica Praecox All. A beautiful flower which I guess is native to Denmark since it made it onto the cup. The set is in perfect condition and is marked underneath with the three wavy blue lines in underglaze blue as well as various other marks including painters marks as shown in the pictures. There is also the Latin name of the flower handwritten in black as is normal for the dishes. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. The cup is just under 2.5 inches tall and just under 2.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
