Whilst deliberately possessing a beguilingly-relaxed and informal appearance, this piece is in superb, impeccably-maintained condition and its handsome order reflects the TLC and light, considerate use afforded it in the past (reassuringly, it is as immaculate underneath the cushions as it is on top!) but, as you would expect when considering the nature and colour of this particular piece, it does show some modest signs of use.
As you would reasonably expect, the seat cushions and armrests have some light (and i mean light!) marks across them but, as the images provided will attest, these issues prove to be of modest overall significance and, rather than being mentioned because they detract hugely from the beauty of the piece, are mentioned purely for the purposes of accuracy. In truth, a better-conditioned example of this piece is unlikely to become available anytime soon so, if your interest in this is genuine, do not delay!.

SHIPPING
Careful, considerate shipping isn't expensive, its priceless.
UK Buyers are welcome to collect their purchase personally from our storage facility in Lancashire's beautiful Ribble Valley (BB7) or to send their courier/representative to do so on their behalf.
However, upon request, we are happy to organise shipping any piece to any UK or International address on behalf of the buyer, with all associated shipping costs to be borne by the buyer.
We do all we can to secure the best deal possible deal for our buyers, but please be aware that shipping costs are set by our couriers, not us.
Standard delivery costs are £120 for a Sofa, and £90 for an Armchair for delivery to the vast majority of UK mainland addresses. For obvious reasons, deliveries to the extremities of this sceptred isles (Cornwall and the Scottish Highlands, for example) attract a 30% surcharge. If in doubt, please contact us for clarification.
We ship all pieces using trusted, fully-insured, independant couriers, who have long-standing reputations for great customer service, and with whom we personally have successfully shipped hundreds of high-value pieces. They may not be the cheapest but, in our experience, they might possibly be the best. We recommend them to you without hesitation.
All shipping costs secure a one-man delivery service. That being the case, the buyer must agree to provide any assistance the courier might need to unload/install any piece at the delivery address. To secure the services of a 2-man team, which can also be organised if essential, please double the standard shipping charge relevant to your purchase.
International buyers are responsible for any customs and duties etc. imposed by the buyer's local customs authorities at the point of arrival of their delivery in that country, in addition to any shipping costs paid at the time of purchase.
RETURNS
We want you to be able to buy in confidence from Lord Browns Furniture, which is why our returns policy is deliberately simple and generous.
In the unlikely event that you should not be absolutely delighted with your purchase for any reason, please get in touch at your earliest convenience within 7 days of delivery, and we will organise for the piece to be returned for a full refund of the purchase price and delivery costs.
In the event of a return, the buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping the piece back to the Ribble Valley and, understandably, any refund will only be issued once the piece is received back at our Storage Facility. Obviously, we insist that all pieces are returned in the same condition in which they were originally sold.
CLEANING
Invariably, the pieces we offer for sale are the best of the best available, presented in superb, beautifully-maintained condition, with their overall condition accurately and transparently described through . That said, please be aware that the vast majority of pieces we offer for sale are pre-owned, and may possess qualities consistent with that fact.
However, should you wish for your purchase to arrive with you in the best condition possible, we are happy to organise for any piece to benefit from a full professional clean, administered by our local Master Upholsterer.
At Lord Browns, we have found the best angle from which to approach issues of this type is the try-angle.
Results post-treatment vary widely, depending on the characteristics of the fabric and the nature of the areas of compromise and, whilst results cannot be guaranteed ( certainly, perfection is an unrealistic expectation), the improvement in the look, feel and odour post-treatment gives the modest investment required (£75 for a sofa, and £35 for an armchair) the appearance of a bargain, and is money well-spent. We recommend this course of action to all buyers without hesitation.
