Signed Mid Century Impressionist Evening Twilight City Landscape Oil Painting

Description: A fine townscape oil on artist's canvas board, signed ""Janet Clark"" and dating circa 1970. Framed - approx 26 X 22 inches (66 X 56cm).This is a fine English Contemporary oil dating from the late 20th Century period. The townscape depicts an atmopheric evening twilight impressionist view of a bridge spanning a river, multi-storied buildings in the background beneath a swirling aqua blue sky. The artist has used thick medium to give depth and texture to the composition. The work is signed ""Janet Clark"" top left.

Date: The oil probably dates circa 1970.

Framing: Contemporary plain moulded Gesso work. Finish: Gilt.

Condition: There appear to be a few little holes across the upper section of the canvas board, otherwise in good condition and set behind glass.
