This is a used, vintage UNBRANDED, Military style gun Holster
I suspect this was a military contract type, but made for civilian use. I have seem many of this style from the 1950's and 60's.
This is PLAIN BLACK LEATHER, SWIVEL gun holster. Made from full grain cowhide, this holster is the type made for the US GOVERNMENT MILITARY Police or Uniformed duty. It is the type from the early VIET NAM era, 1960s.
These were typically made by serveral of larger holster companies of the day under US Government contracts that dictated a uniform set of specifications. These were usually issued to the AIR FORCE.
This holster has a full swivel and a WEB TYPE type hanger, there is no belt loop slot. The hardware on this holster is CHROMED.

The holster is not marked
It is this military type, but not marked as such
The holster is semi wet molded and has a partly welted seam.

The 360 degree swivel, is designed to swing across your lap for ease of carry and access while driving or sitting. The back of the swivel is covered so as not to mar your uniform pants.
Your gun is secured with a conventional over the hammer strap and outside snap.
This holster is almost unused and very tight, not even broken in.
Trial and error shows it best fits.

Because it is so newish and not broken in , I was also comfortable with my
COLT POLICE POSITIVE 4"
It fit tight and proper as well.

VERY Good, fully serviceable. very light scattered scratches and marks. Normal wear, functions 100%, good, mostly clean hardware, no oxidation except a little finish loss on snap. Solid stitching.
Very light use, tight rig.
