This Orrefors vase is 9" high, 5-5/8" x 5-1/2" at top, 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" at base.  The walls of the vase are 3/8" thick, almost 1/2".  The tops and bottoms of the corner edges are beveled to soften the outline.  It weighs 7 lbs. without packaging. The image of the muscular male nude harpist at the harp is 6" high.  The glass is high quality wavy optic glass with tiny bubbles to simulate the effect of being under water. The mark on the bottom is Lindstrand 1470, plus some other numbers which are obscured.  Vicke Lindstrand worked at Orrefors from 1928-1940, and the number 1470 dates the piece to 1935, the height of the Art Deco period.  The condition is excellent, no chips, cracks, just scratches on the base, which is typical for a piece of this age.  There may be a couple of stray scratches here and there, consistent with age.
