ITEM CONDITION:NOS Condition - UNUSED; Excellent +++ to Near Mint due to some light storage wear including some fading and inside cup light yellowing. Some borders on some cups may be rubbed and there are some printing imperfections on the cups straight from the manufacturer, but overall these are beauts. Still in the original sleeves. Have been removed briefly to properly inventory but AWESOME condition. Please see pictures and use zoom for more details
CONDITION ISSUES/SPECIAL NOTES: This is a complete set of 20, 16 oz Frozen Coke collector cups from the 1984 Detroit Tiger World Champion Season. These cups are believed to be the style cups that were used to serve the 16 oz Frozen Coke drinks at the stadium. (Stats listed on cups are from 1983 season but cups are dated 1984 and include the new 84 Tigers such as Hernandez and Evans). These cups were to be used during the 1984 season but were never used - hence, their unused NOS condition. OFFICIALLY LICENSED BY THE MLB. The players included in this set are: Alan Trammell, Lou Whitaker, Kirk Gibson, Jack Morris, Dan Petry, Milt Wilcox, Aurelio Lopez, Willie Hernandez, Johnny Grubb, Rusty Kuntz, Howard Johnson, Tom Brookens, Chet Lemon, Larry Herndon, Juan Berenguer, Lance Parrish, Dave Rozema, Darrell Evans, Dave Bergman, and Barbaro Garbey.
FINAL COMMENTS: These are impossible to find in a)any condition, let alone NOS, and b)individually, let alone as a complete set. These are exponentially WAY more difficult to find than the Commemorative Coca Cola Cans celebrating the same year and quite frankly, the pictures of the players on these are nicer than on the cans. PLEASE NOTE: I also have listings of the individual player cups as well if you prefer single players to an entire set. Nevertheless, this is a crazy rare find that would be quite the addition to any Detroit Tiger fans collection. Complete WOW find!!!
