Metroid Prime is an amazing Action / Adventure Sci-Fi game from start to finish. It's also one of the only few games I know that actually transitioned over from 2D to 3D remarkably well, and in some ways, for the better.
Even today, the game continues to look great despite it's age, and is still as atmospheric as it ever was.
