C Bennette Moore Vintage New Orleans Painted Photo Petit Theatre French Quarter

Available is this vintage C Bennette Moore image from New Orleans.  It is and original print on paper from the 1930's and features the Petit Theatre Du Vieux, located in the French Quarter.  The piece is in its original frame, with a paper label on the back identifying the image.   It is signed on the bottom although it looks inscribed rather than inked.    The image would have been taken before his death in 1939 - but it is undated so date of this print is unknown.

The frame measures 10 5/8 inches tall by 8 5/8 inches wide.  The image measures 4 1/2 by 6 3/8 inches.   The frame is wooden and in good shape, although there is a small splotch of paint on one side.  The seal is partially broken on the back and there is some dust/debris between the glass and print.  

C Bennette Moore was a very well known photographer of New Orleans scenes.  This is a hard to find image - don't miss it!
