Here's your chance to own a rare piece of audio history made by Rupert Neve when he owned Focusrite.
Part of the Electric Lady Focusrite Forte console, these preamps are amazing.
Never sold to the "public", the Forte consoles was a custom design and R.Neve made only two. One was in NY Electric Lady and one in UK Master Rock.
It costed so much money at that time (1.500.000$ each console) the company bankrupted and then was bought by the actual owner of Focusrite.

Designed to stay near the microphones, the signal travel then at line level for a better sound.
They are all recapped with panasonics caps (as used by Thermal Relief) and works great.
12 mic preamplifiers with switchable phantom power.
Lundhal input tranformer, huge toroïdal Carnhill on the output.
Gain switching done with relays, no cheap potentiometers.

The great thing is they are very reliable and easy to service (all the components can be found easily) They don't get hot like the console which was prone to many caps failure.
Very short signal path, amazing sound.

A way better investment than the new 1081R rack from AMS!
They are not made with CMS components and don't have compromised output without transformer...

A amazing tracking path for any professional studio.

Used on MANY (!) albums from the end of the 80's to 2004 done at Electric Lady.

For example The Blue album / Weezer, tracked with them,
you can see here a pic of the mic preamps:
