Fishtail parka in GRID-R INVERSE, a composite fabric created with a black cotton base with a polyester rip stop grid that is bonded to a performance membrane. After gar¬ment construction, the black colour is corroded away from the cotton to reveal the polyester grid -effectively ‘inversing’ the colours. The garment is then over dyed to achieve its final colour. The original colour remains trapped between the seams, thus designing the architecture of the garments. A large print on the back is created by protecting the motive from the fading process. By means of this complex procedure on the finished garment, every GRID-R INVERSE garment is unique and unrepeatable.

Large detachable hood with internal border and wind flap on the neck. Two diagonal pockets with flap and hidden snap fastening. Drawstring waist. Zip-fastening pocket on one sleeve: the pocket partially covers the Stone Island Shadow Project badge. Air vent under the sleeve. Contoured cuffs with snap adjustable strap. Drawstring on bottom hem. Hidden zip fastening.
