I have several of these incredible OCXOs.  They are the best for their power range and are the industry's smallest OCXO!  Hand tuned individually in the USA by CTS/Valpey.

These cost over $150 each new, but at this price, you can afford to do fun stuff with it.

Make an ultra-accurate desk clock!  Do sensitive RF circuits!  Your imagination is the limit.

As a comparison a typical crystal is 50 parts per million.  Better crystals like those in clocks are 20 ppm.  This oscillator is 50 parts per Billion!  Most clocks are accurate to 1.7seconds/day.  This oscillator is accurate to 4.3milliseconds/day or 1.6 seconds per year (worst case)!

This oscillator is designed to be compatible with battery powered circuits, but has more than the accuracy of a most high power units.

They are oven controlled, so the inside is heated to a constant temperature that is hand tuned by CTS for best stability for each crystal.

These were taken out of equipment that failed original manufacturing test for other reasons (nothing oscillator related), so they are practically new and guaranteed to work great!  They are "steerable" if you like, so you can tune them with a more accurate source (like GPS) to keep them spot on.
