This is a 1990’s reissue of the Danelectro ’56 Baritone model built in Korea that features the original features, including the dolphin headstock, original style Dano tuners, adjustable saddle bridge, single cutaway design, two lipstick pickups, volume and tone controls, 3-way switch, 24 Frets/Scale 29.75, Masonite and laminate semi-hollow body and rosewood fingerboard and the classic Dano pickguard not found on recent reissues. .

Danelectro introduced an electric 6-strng bass that was used as a baritone guitar in the late 1950s. Many people credit the Danelectro guitar with creating the first electric baritone guitar, but this has been debated. The baritone became popular in country and surf music. This 1990’s Danelectro ’56 Baritone Electric Guitar is a used item in VG+ condition.  This guitar is generally in good shape but you will find some surface pick scratches and minor general wear from normal use, but no major dings, scratches or marks on the guitar. The frets are in good shape and the neck is straight as a Dano can be and is ready to rock. The electronics work as they should. You will receive this item well-packed, but without a case or gig bag nor the original packaging and paperwork. A gig bag is available for an additional cost.
