I am offering, on behalf of a friend, this most impressive and RARE early 1970s VEGA (by C. F. MARTIN) WONDER 5-string resonator banjo model VW-5
.... manufactured in Nazareth, PA by C. F. Martin. Martin produced Vega banjos for a very short while and , though they continue to produce lots of
guitars, there won't be any more of THESE produced so this is a rare opportunity to pick up a rare one for the collection. Very early production (note 2-digit serial number ...)..likely among the first Vega banjos to bear the Martin name. Set up nice, good straight maple 2 piece neck with center strip, dual
coordinator rods, very well constructed American-made banjo...resonator & flange plates can easily be removed for open back playing. Plays great and
sounds great..shows wear consistent with age but is overall in very good condition. With hard case. Photos show Martin stamp on backside of peghead and interior of rim..
A delightful addition to any banjo collection..
