I am selling a very rare and gently used and well cared for vintage P. Angenieux 45-90 Zoom lens for Leica R Mount. Cosmetically the lens is in excellent condition. There are no dings or dents on the body. The glass elements show very little signs of imperfections--perhaps only a few very fine cleaning marks that is only visible under strong light pointed directly at the glass. As expected with vintage glass, there are some very small dust particles within the elements--but does not affect the image. Otherwise, it is free from scratches, haze, or fungus. Mechanically it is flawless. Aperture blades are oil free and precisely click at each half stop. The focus and zoom rings turn smoothly throughout. If you are familiar with the characteristics of this lens and the pictures that it produces, you do not want to miss out on this rare piece of vintage glass.
This lens has gone through an entire CLA (Cleaned | Lubricated | Adjusted) process to maintain its mechanical and optical excellence in July 2017 by RP Lenses.
