This Captain America Shield Kit. is made of extra thick spun aluminum and is 24" in diameter.Perfect for the do it yourselfer! It was made in America as I believe all Cap shields should be. The Star is separate but each one is machined and spun to fit each shield. Unlike the shields made in other countries, this is made of the highest quality materials available. I Had this shield inspected by the pro's at therpf, and it met rave reviews. I painted it to see how the star looks, I think just like Captain Rogers. The photo's of the painted shield are for example only. They are even easier to paint because you can paint the star separately.
