You are bidding on an unused Russian Spetsnaz Survival Machete. This machete has a  9 3/4" carbon steel blade, is  15" overall and  weighs around 1.4 pounds. It has a Bakelite 

handle that unscrews with a storage compartment (which has a survial kit that contains fishing line, hooks, and matches). 

This knife is loaded with features. The back of the blade has a sawblade, and the top edge is a digging edge so the knife can be used as a shovel. The top of the recurve of the main blade section has serrations that are meant for sawing bone. Also, the blade has a ruler and a protractor which goes 0 to 90 degrees. It is built like a tank and is a tough knife. It has the aftermarket Sovietski Collection sheath which shows some fraying from the saw blade on the knife.

This machete has been sheathed and unsheathed but is unused. There are no scratches on the blade. There are two very smalls rolls on the edge on the shovel (top portion) of 

blade. This machete is in excellent, unused condition. The finish shows some spotting but I feel this standard for this type of tool.

Since I do not have the box and the knife has been sheathed and unsheathed, I am listing this as "used" but the condition is "like new."
