Chicago: Paul Theobald, 1952. First edition. Hardcover. An important look at the history of printer's marks and trademarks in publishing. Features the work of Herbert Bayer, Alvin Lustig, Paul Rand along with several others. An about very good plus copy with an owner's signature to the front endpaper, some soiling to the covers, a somewhat darkened spine, a tiny burn mark to the foredge of the last few pages, and with some wear to the spine ends. Without the scarce dust jacket but the front flap is laid in the front along with an errata slip.

We ship all books Media Rate in sturdy boxes with delivery confirmation except in the case of small items which may be shipped in a bubble mailer. Priority rate is available when we invoice you.

First Class is less expensive but has no tracking option. For international shipping we only use boxes as we want the book to get to you safely. We may also ship in bubble envelope if possible to lower shipping charges, but this is only if it can be shipped safely with an envelope.
