Here is a beautiful large format print of the cover of the June, 1938 Vogue Magazine.  Here she is, the tourist girl on a vintage redwood plank surfboard with Hawaiian Islander Sarge Kahanamoku, Duke's brother, showing vintage surfing with style.

"Photo of Surfing at Waikiki" on the cover was taken by Tony Frissell from an elevated platform built on top of an outrigger canoe.  That is about all I could find out about this item.  I found a few of these rolled up in a tube at an Antique store, with an unknown origin or year of publication.  There are only a few of these available, so get yours before they are gone, no kidding! The photo on this page shows the actual magazine, not the printed paper image you will get.  The only difference is that the print offered here has no white text written in the black stripe along the bottom like this picture shows. Some of these prints have some imperfections and graininess to them, so they are not the highest quality of print, but they are completely attractive, especially if viewed from some distance, framable, and very unique.  I will post a photo of a framed example so you can see the actual print.

This print is approx. 20 x 26 inches.
