Data transfer to a personal computer or any data collectors is possible with the RS-232C interface, and also memory on board can store up 3000 points, which will save you the purchase of data collectors. Unit features dual reading display on both side for more convenient read outs on field. Unit has a detachable tribrach for convenience of moving it to different set up locations. Unit is extremely portable, lightweight design (under 20lbs including tribrach, battery and durable hard case) the lightest in its class. Keyboard flexibility on SET5W makes your time in the field as efficient as possible. Any function can be assigned to any key on any screen. Soft key feature lets you assign frequently used functions to designated keys, and eliminate unused functions from the screen entirely. All units will be cleaned and calibrated for 8 calibrations points (V&H collimation, Double centering, Optical Plummet, line of sight, plunge, tilt sensor, bubbles, cross hair) in our service department prior to shipping. All batteries will be checked out to confirm that they have at least more than half-life otherwise will be recelled. EDM will be base line tested to make sure it is reading good distances according to their specs. All these adjustments and calibrations are provided to all customers at no extra charge. Units will leave here in a good cosmetic condition as well. In other word any unit shipped out to customers is basically ready to work at field.
