KENWOOD TS-530S HF TRANSCEIVER!

Up for auction is a Kenwood TS-530S HF Transceiver.

Radio is tested and is NOT in 100% working condition. Receiver works, TX is out. My first guess is that the cathode and/or screen resistors are blown. HV is there and the finals pull current. I'm overloaded with rigs and have no time to start pulling them all apart, so my loss is your gain.

Cosmetically the rig is in nice shape.
The Kenwood TS-530S follows in the tradition of the successful TS-520S.

It is designed for SSB and CW modes in the 160 through 10 meter ham bands, and additionally includes the 30, 17 and 12 meter WARC bands.

Power input is 220W PEP SSB and 180W DC CW. The finals are a pair of 6146B tubes. (for a working radio)

Refinements include: RIT, XIT, IF Shift, RF Attenuator, VOX, variable Noise Blanker and Wide-Narrow selectivity switch. (This transceiver does not have general coverage receive, ham bands only).

Requires 120 VAC 50/60 Hz 295 Watts. 13.3 x 5.3 x 13.37 inches 28.2 lbs (333x133x333mm 12.8 kg).

Radio is stock, no optional filters installed.

For those items small enough to be shipped via the post office, I will generally will ship these items overseas, overseas bidders please contact me for bidder exemption if the auction does not allow you to bid. Alaska, APO, Hawaii and other US posessions are fine, but may be subject to a surcharge.

For UPS/FedEx Shipping:  Shipping only to an actual physical address. If you have NO other way to receive packages I MAY be able to ship to a P.O. Box via USPS at a higher rate, please let me know if you have that situation.
