NORTHWOOD "GREEK KEY" MARIGOLD CARNIVAL GLASS (8) RUFFLE BOWL Description This item is a NORTHWOOD  "GREEK KEY"  MARIGOLD CARNIVAL GLASS EIGHT RUFFLED BOWL.  This Northwood marigold "Greek Key" ruffled bowl has the satin finish on the inside of this bowl and is in very good condition having NO chips, scratches, and no glass staining;  There is an inside fracture, inside the glass on the collar of this bowl, I am convinced that this is from the production of this item because the rest of this bowl is just flawless, you can NOT finger feel anything either on the inside bottom or on the outside bottom of this fracture;   This marigold Northwood "Greek Key" ruffled bowl is just the way it left the factory many years ago;   This "Greek Key" bowl is marked with the famous NORTHWOOD trade mark but the mark is very faint, but the way you hold the bowl in the light you can faintly see the mark;   The day this bowl was produced the man at the factory did a spectacular job with this iridescense on this bowl, it certainly is Northwoods best, my photo's do not do this bowl justice;   I really don't know what else to say about this "Greek Key" bowl other than that who ever had this bowl in the early days kept this item on the very top shelf of the corner cabinet safe away from the brat kid with the BB gun because he sure didn't get at this one;   This highly sought after pattern can be seen and read about in the "Edwards & Carwile" book on carnival glass, the "STANDARD EXCYCLOPEDIA of CARNIVAL GLASS 7th EDITION, on page #179, my bowl here is ever bit as beautiful as the bowl pictured in the book, (my opinion);   Numerous photos were taken with flash, outside in natural daylight and in the shade at many different angles hopeing to answer any and all questions to show pattern, condition, size, & carnival glass iridescense, I do think this "Greek Key" bowl speaks for itself;  but if need be, you can E-mail me, or you can see me on my web page at terrymackeyantiques.com.    Insurance is bought at the USPS at the time of shipment to you, the cost of the shipping is $8.25 and the cost of insurance is $1.75.    All stickers on MY Northwood marigold carnival glass (8) ruffled "Greek Key" bowl sent to you must remain on MY Northwood marigold carnival glass (8) ruffled "Greek Key" bowl in case a return would be necessary, NO exceptions!           Inventory #255X
