A
nice vintage Heuer Monte-Carlo Rally Dash Board Chronograph Timer in a more
desirable 3-button configuration. The centre button winds and start/stop the
chronograph, the button at ’2 resets the second and minute registers and the
button at ’10 reset the hour register display at the window above the ‘6
position.
The
original black dial is in good condition with no notable wear and/or damage.
The luminous dial markers, together with the hands, have aged and no longer
active.
The
timer comes with its original mounting plate, which was signed Heuer-Leonidas
SA Swiss and Ref. no. 16.8433. Underneath the mounting plate is a dust cover over
the movement. The movement is a 7J
calibre 1666 signed E.D Heuer and Co. Swiss. The movement has been serviced,
running strong and keeping time and all chronograph functions appear to be
functioning correctly.
The
timer is in good overall cosmetic condition with some minor what appear to be
contact abrasion marks on the bottom of the clock.
