Up for auction is a rare early Victorian home funeral Collodion wet process negative on glass. The photo negative is 8" x 10" and shows a small child, post mortem on a velvet sofa surrounded by flowers. The image I have shown is reversed and is the best quality that I could get out of my scanner. There is some damage along one edge, which I believe happens during the process of making the negative.
