About the size of the coins:
Since these are premium packs, we don't know the exact size of the coins in each lot. However, in a typical lot the coins are between 8-13mm. Each order comes with an assortment of random sizes. These are not cherry picked, they are unsearched, premium Roman coins.

There are many variations in the size and and mint of the coins, so it is possible to discover a unique coin. A few years ago, a buyer found a very small 9mm coin of an obscure emperor and later sold it for well over $500.
Identity of the coins:
Identifying a coin depends on how much detail visible. If you are able to read all or part of the Latin words that circle the coin you may be able to identify the Emperor under whose reign it was minted. There are many websites available to help with your research. Since this is a premium, unsearched lot, your chances of discovering some fantastic Roman coins is MUCH GREATER!
How to clean the coins:
Soak them in distilled water for extended periods of time (24 hours minimum), then scrub with an old toothbrush or a soft brass brush. Or soak the coins in olive oil, then scrub them. Hard dirt deposits can be picked away with small metal dental or nut picks. The really crusty coins can be cleaned with electrolysis.
