This Puzzle Box is handmade in Hakone, Japan by the Karakuri Group This Trick Box requires 6 steps to open. All 6 plates shift to reveal the secret space. This piece was based upon Kamei's Secret Box Series M-38-2 Puzzle. The Himitsu-bako profiles Magnolia and Walnut woods.
The box measures approximately 3.15 x 3.15 x 3.15 inches and is new and in mint condition. It will arrive still wrapped in it’s original cellophane and opening directions.
Full of surprises and unique ideas, boxes such as these cannot be found anywhere else in the world. It is said that the Secret Box was created in the late Edo period. Finely detailed and intricate wood crafts, these unique boxes are useful storage place for small items you don't want others to find.
