This is a small egg shaped trinket box in blue Wedgwood jasper ware.  It was one of a series of Easter Eggs produced by Wedgwood.  This is the egg for 1977 and features a dove.  It measures 7 cm by 4.5 cm.  It is in good used condition with no chips or cracks.  It is marked "WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND"
