Included in the kit are studs / fasteners for the valve covers (stamped steel & most aluminum), headers, oil pan, and carburetor! It's really hard to beat stud kits for the ease of removal / installation of gaskets, covers, pans, and other frequently accessed parts. They make lining up gaskets a cinch and often save money in the long run by preventing damaged gaskets. There is also the added benefit of saving the threads in your block / heads! The quality and fit / finish of our kit is second to none! The studs and serrated lock nuts are made of high quality grade 304 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and lasting great looks! As is, this product makes for a great complimentary kit to some of the fasteners you may have already purchased. However, we are also offering the stud kit matched up with the remaining bolts (where studs just don't make sense!) that would typically be included in our complete engine bolt kit. These bolts are currently available in stainless steel allen heads. In addition to the studs, the upgrade kit will only cost $20.00 (OPTIONAL at time of purchase only) and will include intake manifold, water pump, timing cover, distributor, fuel pump, and thermostat housing bolts. We can also customize the kit for use with carb spacers, dual carbs, aluminum timing covers & oil pans, etc. Contact us for details!

The carb stud kit is suitable for all 1/2" thick flange carbs including Holley, Edelbrock, Carter, & more. We also have longer studs available for use w/ carb spacers.
Why Stainless Steel Fasteners?
It wasn't by chance that we came to be. It was the poor experience of using black oxide fasteners from the likes of ARP and others that we realized there was a real need for reasonably priced, quality fasteners that won't rust! Stainless steel is an obvious choice for most external engine fasteners as it not only looks great and requires no maintenance, it is corrosion resistant and typically will not rust! Polished stainless steel is like polished aluminum minus the maintenance! The reason stainless fasteners has become so popular is because you spend the money once and you are done!
Why Allen Head Bolts?
Our allen head bolts are much shinier than most stainless steel hex head bolts you will find. Comparing one of our allen head bolt kits to a non-polished hex head bolt kit is like comparing a new shiny paint job to a weathered 30 year old paint job. In addition, allen style bolts offer a smaller diameter head for greater clearance around the bolt head. Some aftermarket headers require smaller diameter heads or the bolt head will actually hit the header tube! It is also much easier to get a 5/16" allen wrench or allen socket on a bolt than a 9/16" socket or wrench! Another big advantage of allen-head bolts is the socket head, which will not round off like hex head bolts. Rusty, rounded-off bolts is a thing of the past!
