Red 5 Pin Motorcycle Racing CDI 50cc-150cc

A universal AC input, Red 5 pin Racing CDI unit. Suitable for a wide range of single cylinder engines, commonly used on lay flat and upright Honda style monkey engines.

Fits 4-stroke and 2-stroke pit bikes, monkey bikes, scooters, quad bikes, go-kart engines and more. Works with electric or kick start engines. Plus, because these units require an AC input they don't require a battery to work!

Capacitive Discharge Ignition (CDI) Units provide the power to your ignition coil, controlling the timing, rate and duration of your spark.

These quality Red 5 pin Racing CDI units have a limitless RPM. This removes all ignition restrictions providing an increase in top end speed! Be careful though, there really is no RPM limit!

Featuring a progressive advance-timing curve for better acceleration throughout the RPM range. More top speed, better acceleration; this is what racing parts are all about! Make sure however, that your engine actually needs progressive advance timing - if not you'll likely create miss-firing and pre-ignition issues.

CNC machined from a single piece of aluminium alloy, the metal enclosure features large fins for better heat dissipation. Providing a reliable spark, no matter how long you're out riding for!

No instructions are required but we'll provide you with our own wiring diagram anyway! That's right, we'll include a free hard copy of our 5 Pin AC CDI Wiring Diagram, created by our founding engineer.

Some technical knowledge will be required when connecting this unit to your ignition circuit.
