This specimen is small but is loaded with quality tourmalines. Around 10 of the dark green striated tourmalines have a smooth flat termination at their exposed ends. In addition, many more tourmalines are embedded within the transparent glassy quartz matrix. The terminated tourmalines are a translucent dark green along most of the elongated crystals, but as the crystals near termination, the color lightens, and the tips become transparent. This specimen originated from the Shigar Mine, Shigar Valley, Shardu District, Pakistan.  It weighs 130 grams and has dimensions of 7 cm x 5 cm x 3.5 cm.
