Original Vintage Dressing Gown/ Robe/ Eveningwear Dress.

This beautiful item appears to date from 1940s/50s due to its bold style but it may date from earlier. There are little triangle panels at the waist which show that this item may date from the 1920s/30s period. Either way, it would suit both aesthetics.
Gorgeous vintage design, black material (like an acetate) with amazing huge animal print collar lapels and turn up cuffs. The sort of item a Hollywood film star would wear to lounge elegantly at home! This could also be worn as an evening dress.
Fastens at waist with single satin- covered covered button.
Hip pockets.
I estimate that this dressing gown would best fit a modern UK10- 12 (or with a little wiggle room for a UK8)

Shoulder to Hem- 45"
This robe is in very good vintage condition. There is a small mend by the former owner at the waist (hardly noticeable) and at the sleeve (see photo) and minor fade to in collar around neck.
