1940's 9ct Light Rose Gold Ring Claw set with a Large Oval Opal.
Stamped 9ct.
In good antique condition. The gold work is really good and sturdy and is in good condition. The opal is a really nice one, a good size and shape, a sort of a fat oval, and with more colour than the images show. There is however a minor mark along one edge, near a claw tip. Not a crack I don't think, more of a short scratch. Either way it's stable and barely noticeable. There is a barely perceptible rattle when you shake the ring, common with this type of antique setting. Still a very wearable and very beautiful ring.
