This auction is for the „ultimate-legend and ultra-rare” Oberkochen Opton Di (Carl Zeiss Distagon T*) 25mm F2.8 ultra-wide angle QBM mount lens for Rollei, Rolleiflex SL35 cameras. Made in West-Germany!
It’s in 100% excellent good & brand-new condition (!!!), optically 100% clear, no scratches, no haze, no fungus or any dust, airbubles, dots, faults, etc. between the glass elements! Very-very nice glasses!!!
There’re no any kind of paint missings or any scratches on the lens body, 100% brand new feeling!!! Very nice lens body, maybe never or hardly used!
Focusing is smooth and the aperture works fine. The diaphragm blades move nicely at every aperture position. The lens has an auto / manual aperture switch button, so you can check the aperture settings before you expose. There’re no oil on blades, they’re 100% clean!

This lens was made in the Carl Zeiss factory in Oberkochen, West-Germany (common name is: Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 25/2.8), manufactured for its customer, Rollei Optical Works for Rollei SL35 camera.
Rollei didn’t allow Zeiss to use its name on lenses for Rollei.
The lens is remarkable for its high optical performance and beautiful pictures.
It has a T* multi coating layers on every optical glass elements, but T* text is not shown on the lens barrel.
All the lenses that Carl Zeiss produces for Rollei at the Zeiss Oberkochen plant are actually Zeiss T* coated.
However, the designation on these lenses is "HFT" in the interest of remaining fully consistent throughout the Rollei product range.

This lens has QBM (Quick Bayonet Mount) mount, so it will fit on all 35mm SLR film cameras with QBM mount. (Rolleiflex SL35)
